Maison Dawah: Interfaith discussion with students at the University Philippines Cebu

Maison Dawah participated in an international conference on ” Religion in Times of Pandemic: Relevance and Civic Engagement ” on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at the invitation of the University of Philippines Cebu. This interfaith dialogue was made possible via Google Meet, an online platform.

The audience consisted of 100 Filipino students enrolled in “Grade Senior High School” and majoring in “Humanities and Social Sciences “. The inter – ethnic dialogue’s theme was “World Religions and Belief Systems”.

The Philippine authorities want to increase awareness of Islam and Christianity’s roles in times of societal distress.

The two speakers on this occasion were Belall Maudarbux of Maison Dawah and Rev. Capulong on the Philippine side.

The event was a huge success, and we received high praise from attendees on all sides.
