During the JIOI, the Maison Dawah hosted an invitation to Islam.

There is no designated location to give Dawah (the invitation to Islam). This is the guiding principle of Maison Dawah which is completely dedicated to this noble endeavour. The team was present at the recent Indian Ocean Islands Games (JIOI) in cooperation with the Islamic Center of Mauritius (CIM) in Curepipe to promote awareness about Islam.

“We took advantage of the good timing of the football matches to conduct our awareness workshops in front of the George V, Curepipe and Germain Comarmond Bambous stadiums,” explains Nuhaa of Maison Dawah. Indeed, during the same week of July 18, 22, and 25, the Dawah team was able to distribute about 2,300 booklets on Islam and 5,000 others at Place d’Armes. The organization is overjoyed with the achievement of the public’s desire to learn about Islam. The young volunteers braved the inclement weather to welcome a large number of visitors to Maison Dawah’s office.
